Event Information   Title: Monthly Vancouver Ratanak Group Date: 6/2/2010 - 6/1/2011 Contact: Office Details: When: The first Wednesday evening of each month starting June 2nd. We are planning to meet from 7-9pm. Where: Ratanak Vancouver office - 698 East 64th Avenue, Vancouver At the corner of 64th and Fraser Street above Tandoori King Restaurant. Entrance is on 64th. Who can come? Anyone who has a heart to pray for and learn about Ratanak and Cambodia. What's it all about? Praying and Learning Together. We're hoping to spend time learning about Cambodia and Ratanak's projects there, as well as time in prayer for those we are serving. This will involve discussing issues like child sexual exploitation, community development, and Cambodian history (Killing Fields). As we build a solid local prayer network of trained volunteers, we'd love to see this group get involved with awareness and fundraising events in the Vancouver area. There are several Ratanak groups like this that exist in other Canadian cities, so we're very excited to gather together people passionate about Ratanak and Cambodia, here in the Vancouver area.
