We are seeking a skilled, driven, committed and passionate person to work as our Finance & Administration Director within our International Headquarters Office in Burnaby, BC. We are looking for someone who desires to use their skills to make a difference and resonates with Ratanak International’s vision, mission and values in serving Cambodia.

Role Description:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance & Administration Director oversees all finance and administration matters for Ratanak International in Canada and Cambodia

The Finance & Administration Director is responsible for all finance matters at our International Headquarters in Canada including financial reporting, budgeting, managing external audits, and developing financial protocols. This position is also in charge of drafting finance, legal, and HR strategies as well as being part of larger strategic planning and operations as part of the Canadian Director team and the Senior Leadership Team.  This role directly manages a small finance team in Canada while also supporting our finance, systems, and HR team in Cambodia.

The Finance & Administration Director is also responsible for various administrative areas within Ratanak International including the oversight of legal matters, human resources, information technology and office management.

Qualifications:
As an applicant, you excel in finance and organizational management. While you are an expert in accounting and finance, you love to think creatively and have a wide range of business and generalist skills.  You understand the ins-and-outs of charities or not-for-profit organizations and have a heart for helping people around the world. You are an efficient and organized person who can manage multiple projects or tasks and can meet various deadlines. You are comfortable to work and lead in a faith-based environment and as an active part of a small, collaborative and fun-loving team.

You have 5-7 years of work experience in a finance or accounting role with experience leading and managing a team or department. Completion of a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree program in a relevant area is required (For example: business, finance, accounting, etc). Experience working for a non-profit or charity is an asset.

Scheduling and Remuneration:
This is a full-time position (5-days per week, 40 hours per week), commencing April or May 2025. The gross salary range for this position is $88,865 – $97,752 per year (depending on education and experience) based on a workweek of 40 hours per week with access to a comprehensive group benefits package and an RRSP match. Candidates must be comfortable with travel throughout the Greater Vancouver Area with periodic international travel for work purposes. Currently, our staff work at our Burnaby office two days per week with the rest of the week being remote.
